How we work
We are guides to development and transformation. We listen to you and find effective ways to achieve a sustainable positive impact on businesses, schools, students and society.
We rely on qualitative research and real data
We try not to hope in our work, but to know what we are doing and why. We are based not only on practice and our own rich experience from working with leadership teams, companies and students (which is always significantly limited), we try to verify our assumptions through research. Education in our team is not a simple symbol for detachment from reality, it is a skill in critical thinking and verifying one's own assumptions. Our team works hard to verify our own assumptions and build on findings from qualitative research in social psychology. We pride ourselves on reading, attending conferences, and keeping active connections with people in both basic and applied research. We have and experience in research work, which we use to the full.
Design Thinking
It is an integral part of everything we create. We learn and listen to the target group thanks to structured qualitative interviews and focus groups. Together we define problems and potential solutions. We prepare solutions together with respected leaders in our advisory board, who are a wider part of our team. We consult with business experts, educators and respected academics. We develop and test new solutions with customers and with a group of student ambassadors.
Change methodology - how we go about changing
"At projectYOU, we approach the transformation of organizations with an emphasis on clear goals and a deep understanding of change processes. Our methodology, based on Otto Scharmer's Theory 'U', connects innovative thinking with practical solutions. In this way, we support the development of skills and form adaptable and innovative teams, ready to face the challenges of the present and the future."
We start from the end
We start from the end and the definition of the target state, because if we do not know where we are going, nor do we understand well why, no wind can be favorable enough for us, in the words of the classics. At the same time, we don't want to waste all project capacities on problem analyses, although a good and effective analysis is always in place at the next stage.
Working with people's attitude
Or the experience of insight thanks to direct experience. We create moments and situations that through a reflected strong emotional experience (not always only positive) lead to a change in one's attitude and awareness of a problem or correction. We agree with Yemi, A.D. that change that is not experienced and connected to emotion does not lead to real transformation.
Working with people's thinking
In our work, we use the Theory "U" methodology by Otto Scharmer and Peter Senge, which leads to a change in thinking. Instead of hastily blurting out "correct solutions" within our interventions, we try to look at our prejudices and assumptions (e.g. about what kind of relationship today's young people have with work). In the second step, we try to feel it and really understand it. Subsequently, within the activity or game, we open ourselves to everything that may come. This is what we usually use the game for. In the next phase, together we create a new and much deeper understanding of the needs of young people at work. And finally, we create a concrete plan including steps, responsibilities and commitments for putting what we have learned into practice.
We use Theory "U" mainly when working with groups. We also follow up on Daniel Kahneman and his Thinking, Fast and Slow. For insight into problems, we do not use only the language of reflexes, but deep, painful thinking.
Connecting
We perceive networking and connecting different perspectives at any age as essential for growth and development, as, for example, the importance of travel and internships in a young person's life. We do some leadership workshops on purpose in schools and sometimes we teach students in companies. Although sometimes only individuals participate in the exchanges, we insist that they summarize their insights in the form of a teachback for others.
Developing the skills of people and teams
Upskilling and strengthening of competences. Game simulation. Drama therapy. Gamification. Reflection and feedback. We draw people into the game and allow them to test and test new behaviors and get feedback on them.
We strive for the evolution of the behavior of leaders, individuals, educators, students and teams
We realize how important it is to consciously adopt new habits and anchor them in work and life reality. The work does not end with our workshops, but the path of change usually begins. We see human change as a project (hence projectYOU) and we help participants to start such a project and stay on track. In addition, we cleverly integrate social and digital challenges, team check-points, progress reviews and retrospectives to encourage and support participants in our development interventions. We are concerned with the impact of the interventions and their benefits, not just a good feeling from the meeting.
Facilitace
Wherever possible and effective, we prefer to facilitate rather than share "best practice". Our experience tells us that every situation is unique because we are in a complex world. This does not prevent us from using elements of mentoring now and then.
Digital technology
We use everything at work that makes life easier for you and us. We make sure that no one does anything on our projects that a robot or a specialized subcontractor can do better. We don't create cages, we create opportunities. We learn from each other how to dramatically improve the efficiency of tasks through AI and other technologies. We work together from anywhere and technologically build the company for the 21st century.
We learn from others. We create alliances.
We join forces with specialists, experts, academic institutions, development companies throughout the European Union and the world (UK, USA). Also, our delivery capacity is not limited to Central Europe. We learn enormously on every international project involving multiple partners.
We monitor quality - We have implemented the NPS 2.0 management system
We try to evaluate each of our development interventions, but it is clear to us that collapsing the work of the team with the leadership team, talents or students into one number is a serious underestimation of the complexity. That's why we measure, evaluate, supplement the data with a qualitative probe with the client and several participants, and share the data with you with an understanding of what it really means.
We involve you in our future - according to Customer Lifetime Value
We may be exaggerating with the data, but at the same time we measure CLV and invite key customers as important stakeholders in consulting our next company plans and new product launches. We learn together with you and try to listen. Wondering how you can become our key customer? Give us a call, we'll meet and see if we can work on a project that suits each other.
